I've tried installing this on various Drupal 5.3 installations, one of them a totally clean installation - I can create the view and set the view type as 'action view' and it creates the view successfully, but when I go to view the new view, I get the following error:

Thanks for posting this - we'll try and get this fixed today, and post an updated version

this should be fixed in the 4.1 release
