Content Defaults set to "Author's currently active domain" - yet content displaying on all domains.

I've enabled the following modules:

• Domain Access
• Domain Configuration
• Domain Theme

I've got a domain and a subdomain. They both use a different theme.

When creating new content it gets displayed/created on both domains, regardless of the settings (Content Defaults set to "Author's currently active domain")

How do I fix this?
