It appears that the "Maximum Conversions per Cron: " setting is ignored. I set it to 5, copied 10 clips (20MB each) to the video_import folder, run cron and all 10 files were converted, 9 nodes were published, 1 not because "Cron run exceeded the time limit and was aborted."
I've checked the variable table, it's set to 5, for both global and my content type. Did the test 2 times with different files, same result. The unpublished node it's not the first nor the last in the queue.

Anyone else is getting this?
