a number of request have been made in the past that involves the appearance of products in the add to cart form those include:

  1. Hide products that are out of stock
  2. Show the first product variation that is in stock #1952520
  3. Update the product text to say {product name} - out of stock #1972234

those need to work for all three use cases:

  • Single products (one to one with the product display)
  • Products in dropdown
  • Product attributes

This should ideally be achived using rules where a rules.
