I don't know why, but it doesn't start download...only refresh view page

Sorry, you'll need to provide some more information if you want further help.
I'm not sure what would be causing the issue. Try turning off the 'batched export' in the views options and see if that makes a difference.

Hi Steven and thanks for your answer.
In fact i had no turned off "batched export" and in addition, due to the fact that I was also trying other similar modules I did not realize that I had to create a path from the page which would start the download :-)

Now all ok thanks.
Views data export is the only one export module that exports number as numbers and not as strings. Thanks!!!

The only thing that i wish to have as feature is to have not an exposed filter containing the whole filter string text
"field_search_advertiser_value_audi-field_month_value_All-field_year_value_2012.xls" but only the input filters
"audi_2012.xls".

Do you think this may be possible in future?
