So i just upgraded my drupal from 6.28 to 7.22, it all went quite ok, but now the page is in maintance mode so i see that 

Site under maintenance
mysite is currently under maintenance. We should be back shortly. Thank you for your patience.

No problem so i will log in and change that but when i try to go to mypage/?q=user i get that error:

Error
The website encountered an unexpected error. Please try again later.

So what can i do now?

i tried adding 

$conf = array(
'site_offline' => '0',

to settings.php but no efect.

Any help will be appriciated!

It sounds like there was perhaps an error with the upgrade. Quickest way I would revert to your backup and try again.
