rules link as cck field is good idea to have
as already we are selecting the target entity. in the rule links creation we can use create field function
and render it as link

Is it mandatory to use a generate token or this could be changed?
Without a token (regenerated for each user/visit?), I would copy-paste the provided link in the Rules link configuration to a CCK field.. even using a Link widget type.
