I just wanted to express my support for converting this module to Drupal 6. I'm somewhat of a PHP nub, but if there is anything I could do to help make this happen, I'd be glad to help!

quicksketchThis is definitely an interest for me, but I'm waiting on Drupal 6 Views to stabilize before branching the views_bookmark project.

quicksketchViews 2 is plenty usable at this point. I've already built a site on the new CCK, Views, VotingAPI, Fivestar... I think it's time to start pursuing this. Moofie, do you have any reservations to a port? I can start sometime in the next week or so.

But there's one complication: the plan to change the name of this module. If we change it later, we'll have to provide an upgrade path. (And it's not very trivial to do this for the various Views structures. This renaming headache is the reason I held off doing any major work on this module.)
I say let's vote down renaming the module. "Views Bookmarks" looks quite good, after you read it 1,000,000 times ;-)

quicksketchI've moved Views Bookmark to the "flag" namespace (http://drupal.org/project/flag) we'll begin porting to Drupal 6 over there.
quicksketchAfter renaming Views Bookmark to Flag, I've started the port to Drupal 6. The current HEAD version of Flag is ported to Drupal 6, along with a complete upgrade path from Views Bookmark. I've started a handbook page on the API changes between Flag and Views Bookmark here: http://drupal.org/node/268269.
I'm just now beginning Views integration. Considering the drastic differences between Views 1 and Views 2, upgrading Views automatically may be challenging.
