So... I've got a little proof of concept here that I'm playing with... it's pretty simple
I want a block to appear in the top right column when someone does any activity requiring info... creating content, making a comment, filling out a form
This block should contain training information, maybe an audio guide and a link to a screencast.
Now, It's easy enough to do this with blocks and selecting manually for each block and crossing that with group appearance and roles... and this also has the side benefit of allowing the user to control whether or not they see the block in their own account settings.
Is there a module existing that has this kind of functionality? If there isn't, I think I'm going to have to write one. I have to role out this idea to about 100 sites... and creating 1000 blocks doesn't sound like alot of fun :P
