I'm seeking to locate a programmer/developer to build a stand alone low cost product demo site for our publishing company. I have a rough draft spec sheet that I can provide to interested parties. Essentially the site is to enable registrant portals to access product downloads (word doc's, PDF's .wmv's etc.) Please comment with contact info email and I can provide more info.

probably means a demo site for low-cost stand-alone downloadable products. It looks interesting and I thought about replying for that reason, but decided against.

However, if it means a low-cost site, there are plenty of people starting out with Drupal who will welcome low-budget work just to gain experience. This is fair enough and if the client is experienced at hiring Drupal people, will understand the tradeoffs and risks which low-cost Drupal work may involve (it does not take many years in this trade before you see a few Drupal disasters!).
