I've setup a role and access rules for that role that should let it edit the nodes I've created. I created the role then checked all the boxes under node in access rules. For some reason, I'm getting Access Denied when I try to edit the nodes under a user with the role. Some of the nodes will allow me to edit and show the edit tabs, but others do not. I can't find a reason for the difference. I've even tried changing the author to the user I'm testing with, but it still doesn't have access. I get Access Denied even if I go straight to the node edit...http://.../node/#/edit.

Is there something I'm missing? The only thing that may be different is I have some of the pages setup with aliases as area_name/node_title, where area_name is a section of the site (set this for the area menu block, looking at another way to do this with secondary menu in sidebar).

Any ideas what else I could look?

Most of my posts were full html, and my role didn't have access to the Full HTML filter.

That's interesting that if you don't have access to the filter that it denies you access to the node. Is this a bug?

Well if the page needs the filter to render properly and you don't have access to the filter then giving you access to edit the node would break site security...
