I searched for this issue and did not see it listed. I'm hoping I'm just being blind on some config area and this is an easy fix.
I've created a single ad to test on a site I'm developing. I've made sure that the ad is published and active. I am NOT using any ad campaigns at the moment. The ad type is an Image ad. I've made sure that the URL address is "complete," i.e. http://www.domain.name/. (I've also tried it without an ending slash and without http:// at the beginning.)
I've gone into Blocks and I enable the block for the particular ad group. There are settings in the block configuration that are not documented: advertise page, ad width, and ad height. (or at least I cannot find any documentation on these settings). I've left them blank, and I've set a height and width, but not an "advertise page".
When I try to load a page where this block is enabled, all I get is a white screen with the text "https://domain.com:8443" (where "domain.com" is the actual domain name), and a continuous "loading" icon on the browser bar. I've tried in FF, IE, and Chrome with the same results.
What am I missing here? Any advice is welcome.

HunterElliott commentedBTW, as an addendum, I did look into my logs and there were no entries in it for the ad at all. Odd thing, even though it does display the text "https://domain.com:8443", viewing the source code of that page actually shows nothing at all. One would think it would at least show some partial code of what is displayed.
On a whim, I made a text ad instead of an image ad. I could see a brief flash of the page the ad was displayed, and then back to the white page with the https address.
It's almost like the redirect that simpleads is trying to do is getting "lost in translation."

HunterElliott commentedHmm. No traffic on this in a week. I'm presuming that the 7.18 version is just broken and won't be fixed till a new version is released. V7.17 also did not work, but when I reverted down to 7.17Dev, things did work.
Will any of the issues in 7.18 be fixed in a new release (not just this issue, but the ones in other threads, too)?

wastrilith2k commentedFor me, the issue was I had AdBlock enabled! I added my domain as an exception and they started appearing!
