I'm using the [lightbox] format on this page:
http://www.xylitolpreventscavities.com/products/xylitol-products.html#sl...
I notice the following problems on an iPhone 3gs (iOS 4) when in LANDSCAPE (480x320) orientation.
1) The graphic in the lightbox is very small (smaller than when in PORTRAIT mode, which is a narrower dimension).
2) Only a portion of the graphic shows, its bottom half is covered over by the lightbox caption text.
3) The resizing button is mal-positioned.
I also get two of these problems (#1 and #3) when choosing the "View Responsive Layouts" option offered by FireFox Web Developer Extension.
I'm using a responsive theme (Skeletion). I don't know if someway that affects lightbox2.

Anonymous (not verified) commentedRegarding the same page and use of lightbox2 (where three page images have been grouped together), in portrait orientation the first of image is resized appropriately. With the second and third images of the group (or if you return back to the first image) there is a small portion of the lightbox's background color that covers over the middle left side of the graphic.
When the resize button is activated, this disappears and the image in the lightbox displays properly.
The original size of these images is 600x100 pixels. It seems the ability of lightbox2 to resize the images into screen widths smaller than the 600px is when the problems occur.

Anonymous (not verified) commentedI've implemented the use of Lightbox2 on essentially all of the images on the above mentioned website. With the exception that I've made some type of error in this implementation, I see little evidence that it functions properly with the iPhone/OS I've mentioned above, especially in landscape orientation. Possibly the use of a responsive theme (Skeletion) is the problem? Possibly iOS 4 is not supported by lightbox2?
Many of the images utilized are 150px X 200px, a size much smaller than either iPhone orientation, yet the images are often cropped (as in only a small fraction shows), or displayed at a reduced size when adequate screen size exists to show them full-sized.
The way Lightbox2 handles titles/captions is quite commendable (compared to other lightbox modules) but the display of images seems quite buggy on my mobile device.
