I am using drupal 7.22
I upgraded mobile tools from 7.x-2.0-unstable1 to 7.x-3.x-dev OK (update.php ran OK... I guess. There were no errors.)
The upgrade gave me a notice that I needed purl (on a new page that looks a lot like the typical php.info page). I installed purl-7.x-1.0-beta1. Ran update.php and got this message:

Failed: DatabaseSchemaObjectDoesNotExistException: Cannot add field mobile_tools_device_group.weight: table doesn't exist. in DatabaseSchema_mysql->addField() (line 325 of /var/www/vhosts/site.org/httpdocs/includes/database/mysql/schema.inc).

Any suggestions or advice?

I re-ran updates.php but it stopped in the same spot.
