I have read through the documentation and all the reported bugs and cannot seem to find information that helps me. I work on a site that was approved past the first stage by Google and now need to place the Ad Sense Code on our page in order to get the final stage of approval for our account. I have enabled all the Ad Sense modules that weren't designated "old" (core, click tracking, cse search, and managed ads), I added our Publisher ID, and set visibility to show on all pages.
In my Google Ad Sense account, I created a new ad to be a Leaderboard 728X90 ad, then I went into my site's blocks settings, configured the "AdSense: unconfigured 0" block, giving it the Block Description and Block Title "AdSense Test Ad," set the Ad Format to 728X90 Leaderboard, added the Ad Slot ID number I got from Google, and specified the Region to "user bar first".
When I view the source of different pages on our site though, I don't see the ad sense code. I see the title of the block I created, but nowhere do I see our Publisher ID or the Ad Slot ID number. I have tried moving the block to different regions in my theme, configuring the "AdSense: unconfigured 1" block, and designating specific pages for the block to show in case there was any conflict with the first page or any other page, but nothing seems to work. Ideas? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks a bunch for creating and maintaining this module.

jcnventuraDid you ever figure it out? It would be nice if you looked at the HTML created in the block.. Remember also, that Google may take some time to enable ads in your site.
