Exposed search filter: search all content types when the view pulls fields from multiple content types via a relationship.

Hello everyone,

I apologize if this is addressed elsewhere. I couldn't find it.

I have a View that is pulling fields from two different content types that are linked via a entity reference field. When adding an exposed search filter the search will be performed either on the main content type or the secondary content type by changing the option in the "Relationship" drop down. (see attached screenshot)

In my case my two content types are Course and Class. So, I can either search the fields on Course or on Class but not both. I would like the search to search the fields in both content types.

Is this possible?
