Description

I'm trying to get the modules listing in admin/build/modules a little bit cleaned up.

Right now 'Site Documentation' is listed in the group Others, as there is no package info provided in sitedoc.info.

As this adds to the shattered listing we have at the moment, I propose moving the module to the already populated group "Administration" (package = Administration.)

If there is some support for it or at least no objection, I will provide a patch within the next days.

Thanks, Pancho. There is no need for a patch as this is rather a trivial change. However, I originally had this in another package and was chastised for doing so by some of the Drupal-gods. In particular, if you can convince Angie (Webchick) that this is a good idea, I'd be happy to do this. By the way, I don't have an "Administration" package on any of my sites, so this really wouldn't clean it up any.

Out of curiosity, have you checked the very latest version? It now has a means to verify that module paths are what you think they are, with some problem detection. Under the "Module Section" of the settings there is now a "List sort order" choice. I'd be very interested in feedback.

Generally no module should use Package unless it is truly part of a "package of modules," like Views or eCommerce, that *actually* work together. All other modules should be under the Other category. You can read the general rule of thumb on the .info handbook page under "package."

I agree with add1sun and nancyw. This doesn't clean up but adds further complication. I think we can go for a "won't fix" at this point.
