I have read many post, but have been unable to find a solution. Some useful posts are:

Unfortunately, I can't figure out how to migrate forums, articles and users from Tikiwiki 1.9.x to Drupal 5.x

Any script, guidance or other help?

Help on Tikiwiki conversion

Am I the only one trying to do that or are you too busy to help a newbie?

=-=

I see no tikiwiki conversions in the migration section. This tells me you are the first.

Also, please understand that

Also, please understand that a big share of developers' capacity at the moment is bound - we're expecting the first RC of Drupal7 within the next days, and that means a hell lot of work! You will have more luck in one month or so... sorry!

pancho means Drupal 6 not Drupal 7

Since Drupal RC is out

Now, may I expect some help since the major task is over? I tried the module importing users and realized that the account creation date cannot be imported. It seems that all account show as created on current day, which would be bad for forum history.

My primary concerns are: importing forums contents, articles & users
Secondary concerns: importing groups, avatars & permissions

Thanks in advance

RC is out which only makes a devs life busier pushing for gold.

That said, here's what I'd do. Drupal has convertors, not for tikiwiki but for others like phpbb. Have you investigated the possibility of converting to one of the pieces of software to enable you converting to drupal in an easier fashion. Sure this may sound like a round about way of getting there, but in a pinch I've done it in the past and it works perfectly well.

There is of course also hiring someone to do this for you, http://www.drupal.org/drupal-services

Almost done

I sat down and manage to do it myself; learning some SQL in the process. My comments (nodes) are available, so are my content (forum topics). My last hurdle is that I cannot view the forum topics when I click on a forum. Even when the page shows a "next" option meaning that more thing can be showed, I see nothing.

install a fresh drupal installation, investigate the DB for the way the forums work with regards to taxonomy and such.

Thank You

Conversion is completely done

converting from tikiwiki to drupal

How did you do it? My main focus is on content. I'v got lots of tikiwiki pages, how did you convert them to nodes?

Thanks.

Details

I too would be interested in some specific steps, if you could see your way clear to write them up please.

Also looking for TikiWiki to Drupal conversion help

I'm excited to hear that someone has successfully transferred wiki pages and/or other material from TikiWiki into Drupal. Can you provide some further insight into how you made this happen?

Thanks!

I too am looking to migrate from tikiwiki to drupal

If anyone has any script please share them.

A lead perhaps

This is my next project - porting a php-sql-cms to Drupal.

I also thought someone said there was an install profile for wiki's but I haven't been able to track it down.

And in case you weren't aware there is a Drupal Group for wiki discussion http://groups.drupal.org/wiki although very quiet.

Personally I am toying with the idea of using 'edit_section' on normal page nodes, but am not sure about the linking yet.

Also

Node import looks as if it would do the job too. http://drupal.org/project/node_import
