Which version of the htmlpurifier library download did you grab? The lite distribution doesn't include the VERSION file which is kinda required for libraries support.

HTML Purifier Lite offers the same functionality of HTML Purifier (standard), except that anything not essentially to the basic functioning of the library has been stripped out: end-user documentation, unit-tests, profiling, maintenance scripts, etc. Just the library folder.

I download and install the light and full versions HTML Purifier 4.4.0 and HTML Purifier 4.5.0
for the light version I created the file VERSION, a version of the library inside

I will try tomorrow to install HTML Purifier on the new site

I checked on another site, an error has occurred

PHP Fatal error: Class 'HTMLPurifier_Printer_ConfigForm' not found in *****/sites/all/modules/htmlpurifier/htmlpurifier.module on line 539

This patch fixed the problem

I have the same issue. My config is :
Win 7 (64), Drupal 7.26 and installed htmlpurifier-4.6.0-lite.tar and htmlpurifier.module 7.x-2.x

Hi WhiplashInfo, please see #1. You need to use the full version, not the lite. Or at least copy in the VERSION file from the full version if you use the lite.

i'm not sure of what should be in the sites/all/libraries/htmlpurifier/library so I did as shown in screen clip 201-01-27 Ipswitch WS_FTP Pro.
In the other screen clip you see the result in the config menu.
