I would like to take over this project. I have started working on a Drupal 7 entity based version.

I would like to take over the Task project (http://drupal.org/project/task).

Unfortunately, the current project owner (http://drupal.org/user/26529) does not have a contact page. Normally there is a view and contact tab on their user page. I can't send an email to the project owner, what should I do next?

Users can opt out of the contact form, and it looks like the project owner has done that, so you can just skip that step. But this issue still needs to wait 2 weeks in the project queue, per http://drupal.org/node/251466, to give the project owner an opportunity to see it and comment.
