I've been completely protected from comment and post spam, but lately I'm getting more trackback spam that appears to bypass spam.module. In the spam module settings, the list of node types that can be protected doesn't mention trackback...

Any chance of protecting from spam being added via trackback.module?

Take a look under the trackback module. There are some patches to route trackbacks through the spam filter, as well as to give you bulk spam rating on the comments admin page.
