I have tried it with both the Embed Field and Media Selector widget and both gives a similar error when I try to save a node with an embedded youtube video URL.

I have Media Vimeo module installed and it works with both the Embed and Media Selector widgets.

Can anynone help because I have not found any solution online.

I am developing on a local environment.

Same problem here.

You can fix it by adding video/youtube

to Minetypes

on admin/structure/file-types/manage/video/edit

I am using Drupal 7.21 and the url admin/structure/file-types/manage/video/edit points to nothing.

Where else can I go to add the mimetype.

I am actually using Media module 7.x-1.3 instead of 7.x-2.0-rc3 and that's why I am not seeing the Mime Type page.

Can you help me getting this working with Media module 7.x-1.3?

I'm with latest 2.x dev. Whenever I wanna add a mimetype I get a "The mimetype video/youtube is not a valid mimetype."
