Hello all,

I am very new to Drupal and finally managed to play around with it. I'm looking to rebuild our intranet with Drupal Commons 3.x and would like to use the LDAP Integration. I read through the documents and followed the steps. There weren't too many documentation as to what successful setups would result in...

I would assume the core function of this module is to:
1. Lookup a user via LDAP when the user tries to log into Drupal
2. Provision the user for a Drupal account, if the account exists during lookup
3. Allows Single Sign On (SSO) via the browser

I'm quite positive I have the base setup correctly. Under Server > Test > If I run a test - I get a "SUCCESSFULLY BOUND TO SERVER" - which indicates to me LDAP lookup is successful.

I would assume that now if users started to log in, accounts would be generated within Drupal? But this isn't the case. When I tried testing with a user - it kept failing and would not allow me to log in.

What am I missing and is there something I need to do next?

I would appreciate any help.

Thank you.

Kosha:
Enable the LDAP help module and follow the instructions at http://yoursite.com/admin/config/people/ldap/help/issues for attaching your configuration to this issue.

Attached is the requested calledldap_config.html file (had to rename to .txt since site does not allow .html uploads). Please let me know what you find.

Thank you in advance. I very much appreciate your time.

I don't know how helpful this will be with how much I had to mask information. This is a current working configuration. Anywhere there is text surrounded by ** is specific to my environment like domain name or user name. Maybe it will get you closer to the right place.
