kriskd commentedI think I'm experiencing something similar... I want my webcams to display on the frontpage. I've tried to change my frontpage view from teaser to full node and that doesn't do it. Any suggestions?
moonray commentedI'm working on this.
It's almost there, so just a little more patience, please.
moonray commentedNew version available with views integration.
kriskd commentedThanks, I've installed the new version (5.1.4), but am still not getting the webcams to show in View I created.
I have it set for full nodes and filter by node type is one of "Webcam", saved the view and I get the title and body, but no webcam image.
Am I just missing something obvious?
moonray commentedHrm.
I haven't tested with full nodes.
If you add individual webcam field (table or list view) it should work. Will need to investigate.
moonray commentedFixed in CVS.

kriskd commentedThanks, it works with Views now!
However, it's not showing on the frontpage with I have the node set to promote to frontpage. Could someone else test that? Maybe I just have something set wrong in my frontpage view...?

moonray commentedThe teaser doesn't show a webcam image, just the body of the webcam node (which is what I believe your issue is). I wasn't sure how else to go about it. If anyone has a better idea as to how the teaser should look, I'm open to suggestions. If you do, please open a new issue.

islevegan commentedgreetings moonray,
does your module provide "live" webcam(s) views - >15 frames per second?
or is it more along the lines of an ftp feed that updates the image every few seconds?
i don't have a webcam or much money, so i'd like to get an idea of how this works before i buy one.
i'd like something that functions in a similar way to http://www.red5chat.com or http://www.userplane.com but it more open.
please feel free to make any other comments about the functionality of the webcams module, since I don't have the hardware to test it.
thanks for your time and contributions
