Hi there,
i been trying to figure out that, how do i use the Private message subscriptions, i have tried to do a search but found nothing.
On the module configuration page, it has only permission setting, which i had already enabled but i don't see how can i use it.

Foodster commentedand also, it is email notification on private message has been removed for 5.x-2.x ? as i remember it has this on the previous version. i'm thinking that, it might be collaborating with the subscription module, to get the email notification. Did i missed out something?

mr.andrey commentedI too would like to know this.

niklp commentedIn the module interface (/admin/build/modules) it states that PM subscriptions requires the subscriptions module. This is what generates the email notifications. If you do not have this and the PM subs modules installed, PM emails aren't going to work.
Nobody on this thread has stated whether or not they have done this, so there is nowhere near enough information to help any of you.

mr.andrey commentedHi there,
I don't think you can enable PM subs without having subscriptions installed. So yes, I have both installed, and there seems to be no interface for PM, plus it gives an error message when enabled: http://drupal.org/node/167882
Any ideas?

gustav commentedI supect that the pm_subscriptions module has not yet been updated to work together with the new subscriptions module version 5.2. Is that correct?

Zorga Lina commentedgustav, or anyone,
I have been chasing this too - I have installed Privatemsg 5.x-2.x, Privatemsgs subscriptions, (and dependencies Subscription, Mail_edit, Subscription_mail, UI, Content subscriptions) - now how can I set up new PM mail subscription? It is not one of the 'types' in Subscriptions, does one need to define PM as a new content type? To me, PMs are not really 'content'!.
Thanks for any information,

berdirSorry for pinging the participants, I am closing old issues.
This version of Privatemsg is not supported anymore, maybe it is already implemented in Privatemsg for Drupal 6 and if not, you are welcome to open a new issue for it.
