I wasn't able reproduce that in my FF/win so I'm guessing it's something in your theme. I've added another CSS rule that might help.

I can't help it, I'm still seeing that display with the May 16 2.7 version, using the Seven admin theme.

It depends very much on the width of the browser window. If it's narrow enough so that there are only two columns, then it looks pretty reasonable, but the wider the window, the worse it gets...
