Images Don't Appear Unless Logged In

I"m using the Image module with the Image Gallery enabled and I'm running into a weird problem.
I was uploading pictures into galleries and sub-galleries just fine, and after I uploaded my fourth picture, all the images after that wouldn't appear to the anonymous user! As soon as I logged in, they would show up, then disappear when I logged out.
Any ideas what is going on???

It appears that when I login with a user that has a different role, then I still can't see the new images. Only under my "Administrator" role can I see newly uploaded pictures.
I also noticed the same problem on my audio content with my Audio module!
Does anyone have an idea?

double check yoru permissions in administer -> access control
if all is well there, goto adminsiter -> post settings
are you getting a message that your node access table is in need of rebuilding ?

Thank you! I rebuilt the permissions table and that restored visibility to other roles!!!
That dang thing almost made me go crazy!
