So I have Mediafront setup and configed (I think)..something I had problems with was using the URL.

I copied the URL from the "share" option in youtube, and the video would not show in my content, so I tried to copy the direct URL and it still wound not show. So I click on the "More" option on youtube and it gave me a short link. I pasted that into my texfield for my content and the video shows up in my content but will not play. (I'm using) firefox

Am I missing something here? Am I doing something wrong? I'm using the latest dev version.
Any ideas?

Okay.. So after reading some posts I went here http://mediafront.org/ and checked the videos. It seems that Youtube does not work in FF.
On the site I'm working on, I cant get it to work in IE or FF.

Any ideas?

What version of FF are you using? Use the full url, not the short url. Youtube does work in FF, but there are problems with FF 13 and 18: #1629984: video doesn't start on firefox (13 and 18). Have you tried following the instructions at http://drupal.org/node/1563590 to set Youtube videos up to work with MediaFront?

I'm using FF 20.0.1 and am able to play the Youtube video that's on the MediaFront site. It also works in IE10. The Youtube videos in my test site are playing in FF 20.0.1. What operating system are you using? I'm not able to reproduce this.

I'm using Windows 7. I get a picture in the MediaFront player, but it just doesn't play the video.
Okay...I gave it a go on a XP machine, and it works... It worked in both FF (20.01) and IE(8) . Then I went back and tried again, and now it only works on FF on the XP machine and not IE. VooDoo

I wonder why its not working on win7. Any ideas how I can fix that?

I'm not sure. I'm using Win7, FF 20.0.1, and IE 10 and Youtube videos play fine.

If you are using a Vevo link, the video will not play. You will just see the loading bar and the image once you hit the play button.

Could you revisit the MediaFront site, play the Youtube video (it has a black screen before the video gets started), and see if it plays on your machine again?

I did try the videos on the media front site and the only one that would not play was batman. I can try again on Monday.
The YouTube link I'm trying to use is the YouTube URL.

So I gave it a go again on an XP machine (Firefox and IE). The videos work on xp when I visit the MediaFront page in both FF and IE.
As for the site I have made (I'm a bit confused) on the xp machine firefox works, but IE does not.(It must be an IE setting? Not sure why it would work on the MediaFront site and not on mine.)
On my win7 machine I found I was using HTTPS (forgot I had that on) FF now works, but IE still doesn't.
I'm getting there!

I'm experiencing a similar issue. Any YouTube videos that were working before are no longer working. I am using the text field method as described here: http://drupal.org/node/1563590

For YouTube videos, the player is constantly loading with the three gray dots, but the audio starts. If I put the player into fullscreen I find that the YouTube video is playing. The timeline also does not progress except in full screen. I'm experiencing this with multiple player themes, I've tried different presets, and it's happening in views and on the node's page.

It's happening in FF, IE 9, and Chrome on Windows 7, and I've also tested in IE on an XP machine and it's also having this problem. If I go to mediafront.org the Batman video has the same exact behavior in FF, IE 9 and Chrome.

Edit: I should add that this started in rc7, I updated to rc8 to see if it would help and the issue continued. I then upgraded to the dev version and I'm still experiencing this.
