What's going on with Open Publish?
There has been no news in almost six months.

It would be good if someone could at least pitch in to say whether develpoment will continue or not.

I have been working on starting a project based around openpublish. Looks like I'll have to abandon that and assume this distribution is dead if no news is forthcoming in the next while.

Its disappointing that there has been absolutely no news in so long..

Sorry for the no news. Development will continue, but maybe a little background will help. Currently the majority of support and maintenance of OpenPublish is managed by my company Phase2. We are a not a product company so what we do is whenever we have projects that we use with OpenPublish, we try to take updates and new things and roll them into a release. The fact that nothing has happened recently is merely indicative of us not having any project with major new development happening.

If you look at OpenPublic you might see roughly the same thing. It ebbs and flows. We do have some Open Atrium projects, thus the upgrade to D7, etc. We have to be opportunistic about when we devote time to these open source initiative b/c we cannot have folks working on them all the time. The good news is that we have projects that will be using OpenPublish starting soon, so hopefully a new round of updates will be happening.

I will no doubt use openpublish for this project after all, I was just worried that the lack of news meant the project was abandoned,
