I have this set up
entity type -material
entity type - order
a field collection item named material reference attached to "order"
"entityreference" "field_material" attached to field collection - widget type= Inline entity form - Single value.
setting: Allow users to add existing Material -true

Now if I try to create order I dont get the list of materials to select from

You keep opening field collection support requests and I keep telling you this module has no integration with Field Collection.
Reproduce the problem without Field Collection, and then we can analyze it.

This scenario is different than earlier so i thought may be there is a solution
