There could be some automation for this, unless there is a reason why both should be active on a content type.

When creating a content type and when a "Location Field" is added to it, then "Locative Information" collection should automatically be set to 0 (zero). But you will need to manually set to zero.

A "Location Field" will not operate if both exist on a node. Discovered this issue when trying to understand why I couldn't get a location to be found in a "Location Field". It was because I had both a Location Field (Content Type Field) and Locative Information (Content Type Setting) active.
