There seem to be this working on the dev release before, but now it is not

1. Taxonomy 2 level deep
2. Views shs filter, no multiple

When selecting "parent" term - all of the nodes, which have "child" of that parent are not shown.
It may be by design, but I am sure, that in this case 9 out of 10 users would assume that if I select "Ford cars" I mean any model, not only those with model unspecified, even select box has "-any-" written.
Some kind of an option to specify this?

Did you use the standard filter or "Content: Has taxonomy term with depth; Simple hierarchical select"?

my bad - changed somehow this to "Content: My field name"
now everything works fine

How does this work fine for you now?

When the parent is selected, none of the children are visible.
Unfortunately this is the biggest "bug" in the module and it's not usable for me like this.

Now I see that ser_house deleted his sandbox project 'Views hst filter', which was working fine regarding this issue.
How frustrating... :-)

I sincerely hope this gets adjusted. Like PlayfulWolf says: for 9 out of 10 people this won't make sense at all.

ChristopheDG - if you select "Content: My field name" then it is not working, if you select "Content: Has taxonomy term with
depth; Simple hierarchical select" then it is working as we expect
I did the same mistake

Thanks for clearing that up!

Hi,

I have a view that shows entities profile2: The fields "Content: Has taxonomy term with depth; Simple hierarchical select" don't appear as filters so this solution doesn't work...

Is there any way to solve the problem?

Thanks!

Issue summary: View changes

I have a view that shows entities profile2: The fields "Content: Has taxonomy term with depth; Simple hierarchical select" don't appear as filters so this solution doesn't work...

I am having the same problem. When using Profile2 related taxonomies, the option "Content: Has Taxonomy Term .... " is not available.

As a result, If I select Parent term from drop down list, the user profiles in child terms are not visible in View Search Results.
