I run locally a drupal 7.22 with all contributed modules updated.
I want to deactivate then uninstall Addthis and delete its folder.
But, I can't because its checbox still appears grey in my module list.
All Addthis fields have been previously deleted.
All parameters are off (as much as possible).
But the module still run requests to ct1.addthis.com and s7.addthis.com each time I charge a new page on the website, almost for each request.
It considerably slow the process and I need a solution.
I already installed another social app which gives me satisfaction.
Any idea why I cannot deactivate.
Or anyone suggest I can just delete the module ???
I'm afraid of possible bad implications ??

First disable the AddThis Displays module if you have enabled it. Then when thats done save. Make sure all fields are deleted. Run cron multiple times to purge all field data. After that disable the AddThis module. After thats run uninstall on the AddThis Displays first and then on the AdThis module.
