Hi,

I am new to the forum and will apologise now in case this is a question that has been raised before. I have searched the site and have not found an answer. I have also been through hours of videos on Lynda.com but no luck there.

So, here is my question:

I need to build a site for teachers that allows users to register and then download worksheets. It is not important to control who downloads what but it is important to know who is downloading what.

So the question is what is are there any exisitn gguides that I am overlooking on how to achieve this? Or any great modules that would help me achieve the goal?

I have begun working with Views and Rules but it is early days so if the answer is there I have not found it yet.

Really appreciate anybody who takes the time to look at this and respond.

File attachments and user registration are part of core. In order to track who downloads what you can use the download_count module which, in addition to counting downloads, tracks download history.
