Like everybody else, I'd love to be on spark right now. Currently we're on wysiwyg + ckeditor (the tool, not the module) + media module 7.1.

Do you plan for people to be able to make this shift in D7?

I don't think there's much Edit module can do to facilitate this, to be honest. I would think it's rather easy to switch from wysiwyg.module to ckeditor.module. And I'd think both have similar Media module integration.

In any case, I fear there's not much we can do to help, except documenting the upgrading experiences of others in Edit.module's README.
