Drupal 7.22. Fail to create relationships. I see the "Become user's friend" link. But I click and I get.

cannot do any further testing without basic relationships running so changing to critical...

exact same problem with latest dev version and bare minimal drupal 7.22 install (core + user relationships with only main module and block activated)

Same error with Drupal 7.26.

I am using 7.43 and User Relationships alpha6 and I seem to be getting the same problem. Is there a solution?
