Description
With IE6 (6.0.2900.2180.xpsp_sp2_gdr.050301-1519) the menus are nor properly horizontal (along the top).
This is with a stock Drupal 5.3 install, with *only* simplemenu, and no other modules and the standard garland theme. It's using the standard out-of-the-box Simplemenu setup (attached to body).
This happens whether logged in or not.
The attached screenshot shows the issue.
This is a key bug since IE6 is still quite important.
Thanks, and thanks for your work on this excellent module.

I have confirmed that this problem exists with a more recent version of IE6 also: 6.0.2900.2180.xpsp_sp2_gdr.070227-2254.

I have same problem too. with IE6 SP2
#3
I can confirm this issue. Many of my clients are still using IE6 so this prevents me of using it.
Hope this can be fixed in the next release.

Removing the height attribute from links fixes the problem and has no effect on the height in IE6, IE7, FF2, or Safari 3.

Thanks Darren Oh for the quick patch! This fix the SimpleMenu in ie6.
#6
Does not fix for me on the same explorer as above...
I removed the height attribute manually.
is there a custom css from attic?
can anybody give one to me please...
#7
There's no attic. Removing those two lines manually should work. Maybe your browser cached the old version. Try purging your browser cache.
#8
thanks, fixed this and also some other weird rendering IE too.

Beauty! Thanks for the fix. I knew it was something tiny like this...
