Is drupal supposed to take into account daylight savings?
My content is now an hour behind due to the "springing forward" last night. I search the site before asking but only ran into some really old info and old patches that make configuration per user inoperable. I even rebooted my server and changing the default time in settings before searching here for hour. What a mess - especially after posting last night for folks to remember to set their clocks ahead an hour. :P
What have yaw done to get around this?
thank you,
Susan

You're right... it is a mess
You might look at this series of postings to see just how much of a mess
Thanks
Yeah, I know. I adjusted the default time and turned off user config of it, and my stories have the right timestamp now, but it's a compromise. I guess it's a good thing I rarely get a registered user to log in. lol

Adjusting the default time is fine...but...
Adjusting the default time is fine if all your users are in one place, but if you have users from other areas, they won't have the same DST. If you maintain your site in the US, for example, Australia will almost always be off because their DST is during the US winter and Europe will be off for a few weeks every spring & fall.
