I desperately need assistance.

Trying to set up a forum and ran into a certain problem: The breadcrumb ‘Forums’ item from the vocabulary doesn’t show any of the test posts.

I made a forum called Test and a test topic and test post: it looks fine. I am not using any Containers

If you view that page and click on ‘Forums’ in the breadcrumb, you don’t see anything, just an empty forum. Here it is, no test topic, nothing at all.

I want my forum to show at this level, not as it does in the first link. Alternatively, I don’t want the vocab term ‘Forums’ to appear at all.

I am using Drupal 5 and in my effort to fix the problem I have edited the following tables relevant entries such that vid values all match, and I cleared the cache.

vocabulary_node_types
vocabulary
term_data
variables

I have disabled the forum module and re-enabled. I have deleted every forum related content, vocab etc and started again from scratch. Nothing has worked.

I did have taxonomy_breadcrumb.module but I have deactivated it.

If any one can help me solve my problem... I'd smile. I tried to solve it myself and also provide as much info as possible. Any helpers?

Anyone? Did I ask my question the wrong way? This is a genuine request for help via the support forum. I simply have not been able to solve this issue on my own.

Ok, I seem unable to get any support or help from the Drupal community.

I got a very similar issue .. but ..

I can see the whole structure of the forum and I can see there is some contents.
BUT ...
if you get into the the forum topic, you can not see all the entries as shown in the forum overview.
This is strange...

Additionally, you can see the "invisible" forum content in the "what's new" block of the forum AND, if you click on it, you can see the content.

Very strange, isn't it?

By the way, I am using v5.5...

Get into the forum: Turniere & Freundschaftsspiele
and you will see no entry!
BUT if you click on "Aktive Forenbeiträge" (Active) and "SpVg Koeln - Deutz 05 Sommercup 2008" (http://www.soccer-wikki.info/?q=content/spvg-koeln-deutz-05-sommercup-2008) you can see that the content is existend and located in the forum as mentioned above.
