I have a tag field were my users can specify unlimited terms. The only problem: Tags need to exist. I cant specify new ones. If a term does not exist, and the input box loses focus, the value is gone.

I found this bug fixed in the dev-version

When you type in a new term, try clicking the 'The term "Foo" will be added.' Additionally you can use the arrow keys to select that message and then hit enter. That should solve your issue

Based on what you wrote in the issue description about the bug being fixed in the dev version, as well as @bleen's excellent description of how Autocomplete Deluxe functions (as well as my own experience), I believe I can close this as unreproducible.

If you're still seeing this issue on the latest dev release, please let me know and I'll reopen this issue.
