Whenever I use the word "vegetation" in a title, pathauto turns it into "vegation" in the URL, ie it removes "et". I have no idea why this is occuring, but I'm happy to test if instructed.

EDIT: Im using the [title] token to generate the path. The title of my node remains correctly spelled "vegetation".

Well that is certainly an interesting problem. I like vegetation so I hope we can fix this one ;)

First, you should use the [title-raw] token. I don't think that's related, but it's a good starting point.

Do you use the transliteration feature (with the i18n-ascii.txt file?) ? Did you change any of the "general settings" from their default values? If so, please detail the changes.

Just to be sure I tested this out with "the word vegetation in a title" as my title and got http://example.com/vocab/word-vegetation-title as my title.

So, right now this is not something I can reproduce. Can you try it out on a test site where you download all of the module files from Drupal.org again? A completely clean site?

Im also not able to reproduce the issue, vegetation is being used "as is" in the alias URL.
So i dont think its a bug.
