Website Search Not Bringing Results

CompShack - December 10, 2007 - 07:03

I just enabled the Search Module but when I try to search nothing comes back! You can try it at my site http://www.compshack.com

Please let me know if I'm missing something. I just can't get anything back no matter what I search for!

Index

I just realized that under "Search Setting" it says "0% of the site has been indexed." - Do i need to do anything to get this started or it just takes some time to index the site?

Run at cron job

Hi psgeeks,

I had the same problem when I was new to drupal. The thing is that drupal needs to index your content to perform search queries efficiently and fast. It indexes content everytime a cronjob is ran. So you can run cron task manually http://www.yoursite.com/cron.php or wait till the next time it is ran automatically (provided you've set it up).
