Would like to update the mysql to mariadb for performance improvements if any.

Any good guides out there that work well with drupalpro on updating to mariadb?

thanks

I've actually already done this on the next image build script, but went with percona as the default, for the same reasons. maria is an option in the config, if you'd like to run setup script yourself.

here's a good guide to replace mysql with maria on an existing drupalpro image: http://www.sagetree.com/sage-advice/christoph-weber/replace-mysql-mariad...
