Do we need this module in the distribution? It has caused plenty of problems in the past and can always be included by others who need it.

Since it's not actually a dependency used by Panopoly, it would be my feeling to not include it in the makefile.

In general, the sub-makefiles in modules make the work of a distribution maintainer a little harder. But when patches are necessary for Panopoly modules to work, it does make sense. However, in this case it isn't actually a dependency... So, I say remove it!

As luck would have it, UUID rolled out a new version. Since it is only in panopoly.info (not required by anything), figure it can stick around and folks can just remove it from their profiles if they want.
