Get rid of slideshow in marinelli theme on certain pages

I want some pages where it doesn't have marinelli's default slideshow. This is probably a stupid question, sorry. But I've been looking through pages and creating new content types for quite a while and am sincerely lost. Thanks for the help!

a better idea of what you mean by "some pages" or better yet a description of what pages you want it which may aid in narrowing down a pattern for you to be able to utilize a custo. tpl.php file.

aka the 'about me' or just text pages could be better off without the home page banner. so changing this requires adjusting the tpl.php file? thanks.

add the path to the visibility section shown in the image you posted below.

if you don't want the feature on the aboutus page use aboutus as the path (this assumes you've provided the entire path).

Hi, the about us page is node 5.
I enter node/5 on a new line, and yet the slideshow is still visible.
