Just wanted to let you know I was easily able to create a 'schema reference' field type module by using the Schema module and its APIs as the base. If you think it's worth mentioning on the project page, the link is http://drupal.org/project/schema_reference. Keep up the nice work with Schema!

And now I've found out that things aren't really so great. I'm encountering some major issues with the assumption that this module should be able to inspect any connection object, and not just the default one: #1985942: Schema engines should use the actual connection given to perform inspection, not use db_query().
