I just installed I guess an older version dated
cck_address-5.x-1.0.tar.gz

When i add a zip code for boston
the leading 0 is eaten when the field is saved
zip+4 zipcodes are also important so the zip field should allow a - dash

as in 66683-3571
for usa zipcodes

I have not tried the new version yet since you say you must
resave all data that was in an older version
maybe i should upgrade???

will i lose all my data?

zip+4 not added yet. File a new feature request.

I didn't say resave all data, I said resave content types. You won't lose data. But if you don't resave the content types, you won't be able to view the data, nor edit it.

I just checked what my note was, and I used the words 'field settings' which you should know as the fields within content types. In other words, you added this module as a field to one or more content types. Go to the field's edit page and resave it. Make sure the settings are what you want them to be though.
