I've got 2 sites, a development site http://beta.rnp.org/project_map and a live site http://www.rnp.org/project_map. The development site is a recent copy of the live site. I'm using the GMap Taxonomy Markers with a custom icon set. The icons on the dev site work correctly. But they do not work on the live site even though the configuration, icon sets, etc are exactly the same. The site doesn't throw any errors that I can see. To make it even more confusing, if I change the icon set the map is suposed to use on the live site, nothing changes. I've emptied every cache I can find including clearing the cache tables in the database and of course the browser. No changes show.

How can I debug the problem so the live site shows the same icons set as the dev site?
