I got very lucky tonight when I stumbled on this module. I really want this for groups.drupal.org. Any chance you can make a real release? This would be nice for nodes, but you knew that already :). Would get real hairy though since some required cck fields will not be completed before the preview kicks in.

I think you can form_alter away the Preview button since it is obsolete.

Preview comment button is now hidden, when Preview is set to Optional in comment settings.

The checks(if Post comment button is present) and hiding is done using Javascript to make it totally degradable.

By real release, do you mean to get node preview soon? :D

Although the comment preview seems pretty stable right now.

i mean that the current release is a development snapshot. we should have a 'stable' 5.0 tarball for people to download. i don't think it needs to include node preview.
