I was just making a module search and found the newsletter module with it's node/% path: but the project/newsletter alias is returning "Page not found".

I didn't found an existing issue for this and i am not sure if this is an issue for "Drupal.org webmasters".
Maybe this is related to #193035: Newsletter module appears abandoned

Yes, it seems that this was fixed meanwhile. But "Closed (works as designed)" isn't the correct status because this was a bug.
